Back in 1958, our founder Joe Samuelsen started out at Flagstone Creek with his wife, Ruby. What began as a small family plot in the Lockyer Valley has grown into a farm that still upholds the same values: work hard, treat people fairly, and always maintain high quality.

The Next Generation
SJA Farms is run by Shaun Ashley, Joe Samuelsen's grandson, alongside his wife Zoe and their young children.
Shaun and Zoe run the farm the way it's always been run - with hard work, honesty, and pride in the family name. They value their reputation, stay humble, and genuinely love the life of being hay farmers.
